some how his music is very touching.. and he sings about a lot of problems we face today in our lives. when your having a bad day just listen to some of his songs... his lyrics are incredible and very deep. Manson is scary,but theres no reason to be scared. theres no such thing as impossible theres just an im infront of possible ;) and mansons music is POSSIBLE

in my opinion metal is dead. it all sounds the same exp for manson. most metal now is just people that used to be hardcore, then got rich and stopped being pissed or depressed, so they only sing to make more money and keep the fans happy, but the artist arnt wat they used to be

this video is a great metaphor for the way manson was portrayed in the media when this album was released. great video. and manson is a good artist, regardless of the constant criticism he gets.

yeah mainstream metal is dying quickly, slipknot even bowed down to the media, but you have to go to bands that arent as well known for good music like mushroomhead or crossbreed. some mainstream bands still do good music and havent sold out such as Manson and NIN and Zombie.

depends on what kind of metal we are talking about. "Heavy Metal" is dead, in my opinion it died when rob zombie stopped making music. but Manson isn't really that metal. his guitar riffs are never complex. but ya, bodom kind of sold out. but arch is good, they are kinda like RATM and Rise Against in terms of beliefs.

This video reminds me of the movie "TIDELAND", both incredible and to me based around the same sota thing let me share...descending into death can be a beautiful thing if you make it that, even though the world makes everything seem so damaged and broken so if you atempt to become something that makes a statement as an indevidual you might as well try because we die anyways. it makes sense if you listen the right way and watch it the right way...just my impression anyways...
